Raghuvansam রঘুবংশ
Raghu Vamsa is a Bengali translation of the original epic Raghu Vamsa of Kalidasa. The translation is done in Bengali verse. The translation extends to the fifteen cantos of the original text. Nobin Chandra Das, the translator, often quotes the original Sanskrit verses in the footnote to explain his translation.
Rajtarangini (Volume-1) রাজতরঙ্গিনী
Rajatarangini, written by Kalhan, is a poetic description of the history of Kashmir. The present volume is a Bengali translation that extends from the first to the seventh chapter (taraṅga) of the original text. The name of the translator of the first six chapters remains unknown, although the name of the translator of the seventh chapter is Durganath Shastri.

Ṛkveda-Saṁhitā (Second Chapter) ঋগবেদ- সংহিতা
Ṛkveda-Saṁhitā is a Bengali translation of the mantras of the second chapter of Ṛkveda along with the Bengali translation of Sayanacharya’s commentary on the mantras. Unfortunately, the pages containing the name of the translator, publisher etc are missing. The content of the book mentions all the mantras of the second chapter in alphabetical order with the number of pages where the mantras could be found along with their meaning and significance.
Rupa, Rasa o Sundar: Nandantattver Bhumika
Rupa, Rasa and Sundar is a Bengali book written by D.P.Chattopadhyaya. In this work, the author presents his news on three major aspects of aesthetic appreciation, viz. rupa, rasa and Sundar. There are eight chapters that deal with various aspects of aesthetic understanding. This book is an introduction to Aesthetics as D.P.Chattopadhyaya understands it.

This book, written by Bhupendranath Bhattacharya, is a detailed presentation of the main features of Sāṃkhya philosophy. There are seven chapters in the book that contain discussions on Saṃkhya theory of pramāṇa, Sāṃkhya theory of god, Sāṃkhya theory of causation, Sāṃkhya theory of guṇa, Sāṃkhya theory of prakṛti, Sāṃkhya theory of puruṣa, Sāṃkhya theory of mahat-tattva, Sāṃkhya theory of subtle body, Sāṃkhya theory of bhautika sarga, Sāṃkhya theory of pralaya, Sāṃkhya theory of liberation respectively.
Smṛiti-Sāra-Samgraha স্মৃতি-সার-সংগ্রহ:
Smṛiti-Sāra-Saṁgraḥ, authored by Kaliaschandra Smrtitirtha, is a compilation of the views on some salient topics collected from different Smrtisastras. This book is written in Sanskrit and presents the views of different authors of Smritisastras on issues like the ten samskaras, the performance of different religious worships etc.
Sri Sri Gouriya-Vaiṣṇava-Avidhāna (Volume- 2,3,4) শ্রীশ্রীগৌড়ীয়-বৈষ্ণব-অভিযান
Sri Sri Gaudiya-Vaisnava Abhidhan is a dictionary of all the important names and terms in the history of Gaudiya-Vaisnava philosophy. This book consists of four volumes. The first volume contains Sanskrit names and those names that are directly derived from Sanskrit. The second volume contains terms that are used in the bhakti literature known as padavali sahitya. The third volume contains names of all the persons who were close to Sri Chaitanya Deva and who contributed to the propagation of Gaudiya-Vaisnava philosophy. The fourth volume contains the names and significance of the different pilgrim centres. Presently we have the second, third and fourth volumes with us.
Śrībhāṣya (Brahmasutra) Volume- 2, Part- II শ্রীভাষ্য (ব্রহ্মসূত্র)
Brahmasutra- Śrībhāṣya (Vol. 2 till the first chapter of the Vedanta sutra) is a Bengali translation and explanation of Ramanujacharya’s commentary on the Vedānta Sutras. The translation and explanation are done by Jatindra Ramanujacharya. The present volume deals with the sutras from the 5th sutra of the first section of the first chapter till the end of the first chapter.

The present book is an analysis of Ramanujacarya’s commentary on Śrimadbhagavadgītā. Yatindra Ramanujacarya presents a detailed analysis of Ramanujacarya’s views on all the verses of Śrimadbhagavadgītā. The author highlights the important lessons of Śrimadbhagavadgītā as follows: 1. Swapnavasavadattam
Svapnavasavadattam is an English rendering of the drama Svapnavasavadattam written by Bhasa. Saradaranjan Ray has added his own Sanskrit commentary along with a Bengali translation of the original text. In the introduction, the translator offers an analysis of the features of the literary contribution of Bhasa.
Tantra O Āgamaśāstrer Digdarśan তন্ত্র ও আগম শাস্ত্রের দিগদর্শন
This book written by Gopinath Kaviraj is an introduction to the philosophy of Tantra. This book is divided into three sections: 1. Theories of Tantra, 2. Schools of Tantra and 3. Fundamental Tantric texts. The first section presents the dualist perspective of Śaivagama. Some of the fundamental concepts of this school have been analyzed. The second section contains a discussion on two main schools of Tantra philosophy, viz. Kaula school and Kapalika school. The third section presents a brief history of the salient works written on Tantra philosophy like daśa śivagama, astadaśa rudragama etc.
Tantrālokaḥ (Volume-1) তন্ত্ৰালোক: (প্রথম ভাগ)
In this book, the author Brahmacari Medhacaitanya offers detail analysis of the first chapter of Tantrāloka written by Abhinavagupta. A detailed analysis of the ultimate reality, known as Śiva, has been offered followed by a discussion on the nature of the individual self as advocated by Abhinavagupta.
Tantrālokaḥ (Volume-2) তন্ত্ৰালোক: (দ্বিতীয় ভাগ)
In this book, the author Brahmacari Medhacaitanya offers a detailed analysis of the first chapter of Tantrāloka written by Abhinavagupta. The second part contains a detailed discussion on the nature and varieties of knowledge. Since ignorance is the cause of one’s bondage, it is only when complete knowledge dawns on us, that liberation arrives.
Tattvacintāmaṇi তত্ত্বচিন্তামনি
In the present book, Brahmacari Medhacaitanya, the author, presents the views of Gaṅgeśa as one finds in the chapter on perception in his Tattvacintāmaṇi. There are eleven chapters in the book: 1. Maṅgalavāda, 2. Prāmānyavāda, 3. Pramālakṣaṇa-purvapakṣa, 4. Pramālakṣaṇa-siddhānta, 5. Anyathākhyātivāda, 6. Sannikarsavāda. 7. Samavāyavāda, 8. Anupoalabdhi-apramānyavāda, 9. Abhāvavāda, 10, Pratyakṣakaraṇavāda and 11. Mano-anutvavāda.
The Brahmasūtra – Śāṅkarabhāṣya: Bhāmatī (Volume-1) ব্রহ্মসূত্র – শাঙ্করভাষ্য ভামতী (১ম খন্ড)
This book is a detailed Bengali translation and explanation of the Bhāmatī commentary on Saṅkarāchārya’s commentary, written by Srimohan Bhattacharya. Vācaspati Miśra is the author of Bhāmatī commentary. During the course of the explanation, Srimohan Bhattacharya highlights the views held by the author of Bhāmatī as different from another commentarial tradition of Advaita Vedānta, viz. the Vivaraṇa school. The Bhāmatī commentator defends his interpretation of some of the fundamental concepts of Advaita Vedānta viz. the nature of the discourse on Brāhman, the nature of svādhyāya, refutation of Śabdaparikṣāvāda, the nature of the individual jīva, the locus of ajñāna, etc. This is a fine example of intra-school philosophical debate that could be found in many other classical Indian philosophical systems.
The Padārthatattva-Nirūpaṇam (পদার্থতত্বনিরুপনম)
The present book, written by Raghunātha Śiramaṇi and translated and explained in Bengali by Madhusudan Bhattacharya, is an attempt to present his views on the metaphysical categories generally accepted in the Nyāya-Vaiśeṣika tradition. Raghunātha, of course, refutes some of the categories accepted by earlier Nyāya-Vaiśeṣika philosophy. He even does not hesitate to accept some of the views of the Mīmāṁsā philosophy, thereby going against his own tradition.
